Ghandi - A thought

Weaving has been a culture through generations which sustain lives of wide population in India and help us to keep our textile heritage alive. Gandhi Ji had beautifully addressed this in his thoughts - "There is no beauty in the finest cloth if it makes hunger & unhappiness." The grass roots realities has changed and worsened by this current pandemic situation and needs some urgent attention of government, design fraternity and consumers. Celebrating Gandhian thoughts in its essence will be true tribute.

Why Sustainability should not be a trend?

Being a mom my passion to give everything pure to my son was the actual start for me to find solutions on organic food.  Designer in me thought why “Organic” should be limited to food where apparels are intimate part of our lives too.             Upcycling is my interest as my love for clothing never really allowed me to waste fabric. The Grey Scale

Being a girl, I often find myself searching the closet for choosing right attire. at times, i even take out 10-15 clothes to try and still feel that i want something more to content my hunger of styling. This often happens on busy days, where I have official meets and family brunch or have to join friends in clubs right after my office and on these days….. Garba's traditional dress is one more reason it is loved for. We all make so much plan for each day, right from its colour theme. But what if some day unplanned work arise and we do not have enough time to slip in our traditional outfits. Here are some tip to style in no time and get a quirky fusion look.
